    Solid veteran presence. Something the forwards need more of tbh. He’s often on IR, but he plays with moxy and can pk and take draws. I look at this deadline 3/4W Motte UFA 3RD Hamonic for 3LD Dermott 4/5C Richardson 4th round pick 2+M cap savings whats not to like?

    Horvat is here until the offseason at minimum. More likely he’s dealt next deadline if at all. I think a reasonable extension gets done. He’ll be the 3C when they challenge for a cup, and a strong one at that. No need to trade this player. Just because he’s not JT Miller, does not mean he’s garbage, and likely won’t break the bank either.

    Hate to say it, rather see that money go elsewhere. Guys like motte need to be developed in system so we can start balancing cap. Love the player. Hate the cap allocation. Dickinson, Poolman… too much money for guys that aren’t difference makers. Trade him for 2nd and spect

    Canucks need a Duchene like return for Miller. Just not sure it’s out there for them. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Girard, Bowers, Kamanev Seems steep? Only player to work out so far is Girard…. food for thought.

    We won’t be trading too 6 forwards for pending UFAs. But unload Boeser for futures and sign FF at UFA… that is something I could get behind.
