  1. Unless SJ is willing to take Myers back, nothing to see here
  2. Either is acceptable imho. Trots with far more structure tho, while BB is primarily motivational.
  3. This pick for fiala makes sense. I don’t see a NJ/Van deal here honestly. I think it’s far more likely that IF Van trades their own 1st, it’ll be to trade down for more assets… I could see Montreal in here as they could easily have a package of picks to give them another 1st at their home draft.
  4. This kid scores nice goals. Good skating agility, and real nice deceptive shot release and quick hands. Looks like fiala/kyrou type player.
  5. This is part of the development for Woo if he is to make the nhl. They see him as a 13F/7D …and to have that versatility would be awesome for coaching.
  6. Summary… Boeser is getting done. Coach decides to stay or go. They will make low-mid level trades/fa signings to retool the D/bottom 6. nuff said
  7. It really sounds to me like management wants to keep all of Miller Horvat Boeser and Garland. I expect to see the likes of Pearson, Myers, Dickinson, Poolman dumped… which after getting a 3rd for Hamonic makes me believe can be done.
  8. I’ve always liked Tierney. Always plays the Canucks hard at least. Kind of a Motte replacement
  9. I think management finds a way to keep all their core stars. Retool the D
  10. Down to the last point congratulations to Phil! Helluva run for my squad. Props to Fiala (waiver add), Dobson, Robertson, Kucherov, Crosby, and McDingle who made up for my other $&!#ty drafting lol
  11. No reason we couldn’t start an offline draft any time… ?
  12. Disagree. Prime Window should be built around Petey turning 27…. 4 years from now.
  13. If Colorado doesn’t win the cup, I think they’ll be all over Miller at the draft. For the right dman coughbyramcough… That’s the kind of deal I think Van will consider.
  14. Without google… linden vey?
  15. I don’t see any rush to trade Miller. His contract value/player performance is far too valuable to the team for next season. And yes they will be a playoff team next year, which likely means he is extended before the deadline. They can adjust in that offseason. It’s Boeser they really have to make a decision on. And in this scenario I’d give him a 1 year QO and see how he performs next year. Trade the asset if you’re not convinced
  16. Shame for DeMelo not being 1st on the “in list”
  17. I have a feeling the market on BB is soft. Better for Garland, which is why he’ll be moved… my bet is at the draft for good picks. IF they can’t come to ideal terms with BB… unfortunately I could see them walk and look for other answers via UFA, however I do think BB wants to stay in Vancouver and will take a haircut on the QO As for Miller, anything could happen. It all depends on if he wants to stay in a role he loves for less $$ and term. His family (wife) may have other ideas lol. Fortunately they can figure this out during the summer… but I don’t see the rush in trading him. I’d bet he continues to perform. Let him help the team at his excellent contract. maximize the rental at the deadline if the team isn’t in a good position.
  18. Also… would anyone else be up for trading Miller, Garland, Boeser, Horvat and going full tank with a tonne of young assets for a chance at Bedard???
  19. Nice add. Clearly a project, but he’s local to baby Canucks so amazing for him! hope he goes Arshdeep
