    I think I'm getting slightly ahead of myself... but is it possible we rename Griffiths Way to Boeser's Way if Brock retires as a Canuck? 

    Man... I love me some Brock. I really hope he's a Canuck for life. Something tells me the Old Boys Club will meddle though before we re-sign him and make sure he ends up on a US team. I wouldn't mind a Lindros type of deal though... which Colorado ultimately benefited from.

    1992-Jun-30 Traded from Quebec Nordiques to Philadelphia Flyers for Chris Simon, Mike Ricci, Kerry Huffman, Ron Hextall, Peter Forsberg, Steve Duchesne, future considerations, round 1 pick in the 1993 draft, round 1 pick in the 1994 draft and cash



    I think Brock has similar value... I'd do Crisby, Schultz, Sprong, Murray, Rust, 1st from Crapsburgh

     

    or Toews (2.5 million retained), HInostroza, DeBincrat, Forsling, Crawford, + 2018 1st + 2019 1st from Chicago

      @chon derry it's interesting to wonder about how long the Canucks will play in that arena, I still like it. It feels rather modern to me for being 30+ years old already.

      @Green Building did you see babych's comment on the pacific coliseum , said it had a better atmosphere to play in.  its 50 yrs old , and their anticipating 25 more  at least.  who knows the way gas stations,  safeway are selling out their properties ,it does seem like every square inch of downtown is for sale.

      No, I didn't see those. I don't blame him though, the Coliseum rocked. You get altitude sickness climbing to the nosebleeds where if you lean to far forward you were right on top of the ice.  

       

      Hopefully there's a clause somewhere that Aquilini can't raze the land and build condos.
