      Meh, if Gillis left behind more of a team that wasn’t old and decrepit.....we likely wouldn’t have been able to draft Pettersson or Hughes.

      So thanks for his no trades? 

      On the other hand. If he didn't hand out NTC's like business cards.

      We might have had more draft picks and assets to rebuild sooner. 

      On top of this, his boneheaded Luongo deal, if Luongo retires this offseason.

      The team will be slammed with a sudden $2,840,000 + recapture penalty for the next 3 seasons.
