I get the sense that the Fire Green threads are approaching. It happens to all coaches eventually, but Green's lasted longer than most before facing the wrath of fans.

The Canucks are not making the playoffs.
They are a mediocre team, not bad enough to get a top 5 pick but not good enough to beat out Colorado and Dallas.
These games before Quinn Hughes arrives are going to be hard to watch..

If the Canucks, at minimum,don't put in a waiver claim for DeVante Smith Pelley, I will be so pissed.
He fits exactly what the Canucks need on their 4th line.
Heavy but can skate. Can hit and get in on the forecheck and can get in the odd scrap too.
This is the best fit for the Canucks on waivers in a long time. It's a no brainer decision imo.
Do the right thing Canucks. Bury Schaller and give his spot to DSP!!!

This is the draft where I'd rather not get 1st. Kakko is better for our team's needs, but it'd be so much fun to see the Hughes bros play for the same team. Hope for 2nd, and let a different team make that decision.

@40Dangles I was comparing how both play a similar 2 way game.
Juolevi was a top 10 pick. Is Byram as good or better?
Byram is bigger and more effective probably in the physical department though. I give him that.
It's wait and see for me. Juolevi has to shed his injury prone label though.
He was supposed to be as good or better than Olli Maata when in his draft year, and his development has not gone as quick as It should have due to injuries.
So let's see if he can stay healthy and get back on track.
He should be a regular on the Canucks D by 2021 at the latest.

@40Dangles Many people thought similar things about Olli Juolevi in his draft year. So I take it with a grain of salt.
Forward is the safer play still,unless the Canucks truly believe in Byram's potential.

As of right now we’ll have $35 million in cap space in the summer. If we move Sutter, Gudbranson, Eriksson, Gagner, and Schaller that will bump us up to over $50 million, which would give us plenty of room to maybe sign a star or two. If Benning can do it Aquilini should give him the green light imo.

Hawaii is not a bad idea. It's only a couple hours behind the Pacific Time Zone.
Most NFL games would be early afternoon there and the early games would start super early.
Better than flying across the pond to London each week I guess.
Maybe move the Jags to Hawaii instead of to London if they really wanted. Play a regular season game there each year.
Why did they move the Pro Bowl out of Hawaii for Orlando and Disney World again? Did ESPN push for that? Can't remember the reason plus why they stopped playing the pro bowl after the Super Bowl.

I guess it depends which item it is off the menu. The fries are soggy and unedible once they get cold.
I like McDonalds breakfast items but that's about it.
I rather have Vera's or A and W or Wendy's.

The 3 biggest Canadian cities Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal think they are too good to care for the CFL.

Would you trade for Ferland in a trade revolving around Sutter. I would given the emergence of Gaudette and the fact that Ferland would fit like a glove in our top-6.
