Yah ray Whitney wasn't bad... Had skill a good athlete for his time but maybe just a bit more upstairs and a bit more heart than say, Virtanen... Enough to get by.
I just don't appreciate anyone who rests on their laurels... But hey, I guess they're supposed to be entertaining.

No they're worse then that. Because they were NHL players, they think very highly of there opinion. However, they were bottom of the line-up players that were never considered high IQ or character teammates (they were good at standing up for their teammates from time to time... I'll give them that). Fun time, practical jokers... Old school puck heads. Whatever.... These guys have never said anything positive about the canucks and as you mentioned, it doesn't seem like they pay any attention or watch any game the nucks are in. Super biased and dismissive. They just don't care to do the work and really have a meaningful take. There bread and butter is paying attention to the eastern teams period.
Nothing to see here...

In theory... This is a epic moment in time for the fLames. Hate to say that... However, that is just on paper... I hate the fLames but... This may very well get them to the cup, and maybe win it. But if this doesn't pan out, though I think it will... Ohhhhh shit!!
Regardless, respect for pulling these deals off under difficult circumstances.

Isn't he the same height as saros? Maybe not the average size of goalies these days. But you can't quantify heart, will, fight and IQ. So Dipietro has no worth for trade right now, but see how this year goes. See if he proves the doubters wrong.

We'll see how it develops.If petey has a great year say 35 goals and 95 points. He'll probably get in the 10 range. I don't think, even with the rising cap, that he'll command 11+.

He's our new Stetcher... Bigger, tougher, buta little less a dynamic skater and slightly less hockey IQ. But... Like Stech he has a big heart, tons of effort and is loved in the locker room. Hopefully our #7 or 8 this year.

Glad we have depth... Gives us a chance to compete until we're healthy. In past years we'd be in trouble already... Same old same old. But this year we have a chance to weather the storm and have a good start to the season.

Lol! You're absolutely right! Shooot... I thought Ray was the guy on chicklets. Even more reason to disregard those guys 'professional' opinions. Lol! I probably shouldn't let it bother me as much as it does.
