    Random NHL fact: The Longest NHL game was 176:30 minutes long -- between the Detroit Redwings and the Montreal Maroons on March 24-25, 1936. It lasted until the 6th OT and finally ended when Detroit's Mud Bruneteau scored on Montreal's Lorne Chabot for a 1-0 win. The game ended at 2:25 AM.

    Hallelujah! Things are good recently. Burr is back. Lu got his 52nd career shutout last night to pass Curtis Joseph and move solely into 20th all time. He is also on a 62:01 shutout streak!
