    Honestly. If Tavares would come to Vancouver for 7 years at $12 million a year I think you have to do that. He’s a bonafide, superstar #1 center which you can get for nothing but money. How often do those opportunities come around?

      If you were Vegas, would you be willing to part with:

      Shea Theodore

      Malcolm Subban

      2019 1st Round Pick, and two 2019 third round picks

       

      For Tavares on Draft Day? 

       

      Grabovski, and Neal are UFA at the end of the season, so they would have enough cash for Tavares.

      It would give the Islanders 4 first round picks in 2 years. It would shore up their D and give them a solid goalie prospect.
