    Holy crap those Kings...Now just imagine if they inserted Gagne into their line up: Brown-Kopitar-Williams Penner-Richards-Carter Gagne-Stoll-Fraser Nolan-Richardson-King/Lewis .___.

      Actually, it could have been a butterfly effect. By putting in Gagne, naturally one of King, Nolan, or Richardson comes out and all three of those guys have been vital in LA's run. But Gagne himself is a big playoff performer.

      If memory serves correct, the Canucks were a bit of a bottom feeder then and already owned one of those picks. They then traded the following year's 1st round pick, 2 3rd round picks and a roster player (McCabe) to get the other top pick. We just don't have those top picks available to make such a deal work again.

    A tip for goalies if you don't know this: If you're getting screened, stick the blade of your stick between the players' skate (the space between the blade and the boot of the skate) and flick your wrist. Its a beauty of a trick
