The volume of deals caught me off guard, I thought with the all the talk leading up to today it was gonna be mostly hype. The Tyson Barrie rumor was crap as many knowledgeable Canuck fans would know it was a no go - just Toronto crap! I think Washington did well for playoff contending teams and Montreal with LA moved their building process forward.

it will take some of the guessworkout of what you are really trying to figure outabout who has the toughest finish to the seasonthe nucks had the easiest strength of schedule for the first 60 gamesand hover in the lower 20s for the balance of the seasonthey have had a very very easy go this seasoncompared to some teams(however this does not factor in travel issues)i think the isles have the toughest remaining schedulewhich may explain why they were aggressive at the tdl -
Hmm, Vegas should be able to win most of those games I think. Arizona's tough to predict but I think we can get at least 2/3. Edmonton will be in tough against Vegas while Calgary could go either way against most of those teams.
If we can win most of those games, especially against Arizona and Calgary we should do okay?

Boston never or seldom go beyond five year deals if memory serves me correctly, I read the Bruins have pulled out of the Kreider stakes. But who knows for sure?
