[PGT] Seattle Kraken at Vancouver Canucks | Apr. 04, 2023

I don’t think you comprehend anything I said. I don’t expect them to be better in 2 years. They are playing the long game. We are not. I even said I expect them to take a step back. -

He’s in his D+1. Was quite literally drafted last draft and Beniers is quite literally a rookie. Neither Hughes nor Petey played in their D+1. They are not meant to be competing right now. Neither are the 9 picks in the first 2 rounds of last and this draft are meant to be stepping in right away and making them a contender. This was a surprise season and still they didn’t jump the gun by sacrificing futures. They have a long term outlook. -

They’ve accumulated a f**k ton of early round picks last and this draft. They have their top 2 Cs for a decade. And the other guys they’ve drafted are doing pretty well. They have 4 picks in the first 2 rounds in this upcoming deep draft. They’ll probably get a step back as their youngsters establish themselves but it’ll be the calm before the storm. They’ve set themselves nicely long term. -
[Signing] Canucks sign Cole McWard

If he was highly touted he’d be one of the first guys signed. Being a project prospect isn’t a bad thing to be called. -

Probably the most project prospect out of all the ones we’ve signed but still a free prospect. -
Pretty rough for an 18 year old to deal with, especially months prior to the draft. Father won't see his son drafted or his future grandchildren https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/news/whats-at-stake-tonight-will-clock-strike-midnight-for-washington-capitals https://www.sportskeeda.com/ice-hockey/news-who-matvei-michkov-s-father-andrei-top-prospect-s-dad-found-dead-mysterious-circumstances https://www.sportskeeda.com/ice-hockey/matvei-michkov-s-father-passes-away-nhl-twitter-offers-condolences-this-awful-losing-father-months-set-drafted "Andrei Michkov was just 51 years old at the time of his death. He was a devoted father who raised Matvei and gave him a solid start in life. His sudden and tragic death is a huge loss to the Michkov family, who are mourning the loss of a wonderful person."

Maple Ridge Kraft Hockeyville

Would like to see the main one kind of expanded for bigger events on top of it. Albion is a pretty good area(Probably the nicest area in Maple Ridge) and has grown the last decade a lot with the community center and elementary school added. Andrew Ladd went to Albion Elementary. His Parents still lived in the area for a while. Caribbean festival comes around in that area too. Pricey but good food during summer times. Sports Complex next to Ice rink. Overall great area to raise family Lots of parks and fields and close to trails and lakes. Bruce's always a tight spot with food. Sausage rolls and Candied Salmon. Went to high school at SRT despite living closer to other high schools. I did not regret that choice. Crowded but awesome school. -

[Signing] Canucks sign Max Sasson

He’s 22 years into his retirement. -
I mean if he does suffer another significant injury he could be placed on LTIRetirement. Not that I wish him serious harm or anything.

We sure got a lot of puck-moving defenseman in the system. -
[Rumour] Canucks interested in Sam Malinski

If we clear cap I would probably look for a short term stop gap. Myers is that if we keep him and Schenn would be if we re-sign. I hear we are into Garikov apparently but he’s a lefty but a solid one at that. Graves is a LH that can play both sides and Soucy is one too. Both big guys too. Soucy more of a quality 3rd pair D compared to Graves who is 2nd pair. RH D market is bare. Will be an interesting off-season. Might be best to ride the year with Myers since not a whole lot of options. Most of our prospect D need a bit more time. -

Faber thinks he needs significant AHL time prior to any NHL shot. Seems like another Rathbone-type, same weight but a little taller and RH. -
I vape(trying to quit). Anytime I am at a cross-walk, outside a store door and etc I'll walk away from where foot traffic is. Especially kids. I take a step back and put myself in other shoes. I wouldn't want to breathe in unwanted vapor or have my kids do the same. It is common courtesy and common sense. Nobody wants to breathe or have their family breathe in vapor or smoke. The guy should have the book thrown at him.
