First title of the season beating Leicester. Lingard's goal was just a great solo effort. Ibra showing again why he's still one of the best in the world. And again, his height being critical giving United a dynamic which they didn't have for some time / heading ability.

Squad is set and a lot of depth in the mid+upfront. Probably the most excited I've ever been for a United season!!

...what a summer B)

Most likely what United will look like with JM saying he'll carry 23 outfielders + 3 goalies:

...a bit disappointed Mourinho elected to not keep Pereira. Youthful and he's got something special to him. Don't want United paying ~ £100M for him down the road lol. Hope he gets loaned out.

All in all very satisfied with the additions this transfer window. Thought it was a pipe dream Pogba would return but it somehow happened.

@TheRussianRocket. I agree with what you are saying, from José interview after the match today, it seems like he sees Pogba as box to box in a 2 man midfield. I just wish Mou would get rid of Rooney already, the man is living off past glories and if today is anything to go by, then it's going to be a long season if he's not dropped.

Meh, not the biggest of concerns. Though I do get what you're saying and the rest of the fans lol. Just causing a logjam and not letting the club naturally progress into it's next stages but he's not terrible or bad by any means. His vision and ability to find teammates and push the ball up field will be great. Mourinho will definitely give him the freedom and guidance to be an impact player.

Plus we can most certainly still use his goal scoring, whatever 10-20 he'll give us. As funny as this may sound, even with the additions United have made, the total goals scored this season won't be high by any means and will be a complete team approach. May not even have a single 20 goal scorer since Martial is raw, along with Rashford coming off the bench most nights. But goals against should be down considerably with José so that'll help as well.

Pogba taking the piss, calling his time at Juve "a holiday"

Mum knows best. Get in ;)

...you can tell he is genuinely relieved and happy to be back. Emotions/feelings are definitely real.

#6 it is. Lovely.

This has been arguably one of the best transfer windows for a single team in recent memory. Just jaw dropping from Jose and Ed. Mourinho effect in full effect. Getting rid of that bloke LVG was half the problem. Now players will want be a part of Old Trafford instead of cringing and turning away when looking at the destination. Incredible statement from the club.

Got arguably the best player from the French league, Bundesliga, and Series A. Un-fracken-believable.

...signing the 3 most in form players of each of the 3 leagues. Unheard of.

Also rated the highest central midfield player in Europe according to the metrics (at bottom of page: https://www.whoscored.com/Statistics)

This is pretty much as hard as my nipples can get

Heading to Germany on Thursday for the Supercup on Sunday. I know it's just the Supercup, but I can't wait. I haven't been since last season's Bundesliga opener (after which I had a horrendous hangover ). It's lookig like both teams will field strong sides too.

Enjoy you trip...football is back :)

I got tickets as well. Unfortunately I probably won't be able to make it. Sad. Would have been nice to see if my drinking abilities are up to par with a Glaswegian. :bigblush:

Stones to City for £47.5M potentially rising to £50M.

City paying big for what seems to be another average defender, but he is young so he might come good.

Didn't you guys spunk like 500 million pounds in the past 3 transfer windows for one champions league group stage exit? I wouldn't be talking about overspending.
