So with Georgia losing, 'Bama will likely take over top spot.

The good news is, with their win over the Horned Frogs and the Irish getting thumped by Miami, Oklahoma should sneak into a playoff position. What should be a cakewalk coming up on Saturday at Kansas and then one more tough one at home to West Virginia on the 25th.

Don't expect any movement at the top of the rankings this weekend, as the top four teams all have easy match-ups. Best game looks like the #5 Badgers hosting the Wolverines, who at 8-2, are ranked 24th and will likely see this as a playoff game.

West Virginia is a good team with a high powered offense lead by a former stud 7th grade QB.

A really interesting read if you have the time

So, I was confident with the Sooners playing at home, but I didn't expect them to dominate the Mountaineers the way they did. Another 50+ points for Mayfield's offense has to put him in the front of the Heisman race...

Meanwhile, with Miami losing yesterday and Auburn knocking off 'Bama today, there's a very real chance that my Sooners go into the Big 12 championship game against the Horned Frogs, the #1 team in the nation. They still have to take care of business against TCU, but a spot in the playoffs is looking good.

The real question for me is do the Badgers get into the top 4? My guess is that it depends on what they do against the Buckeyes next week....

Wow. Bama gets into the playoff with a resume that includes marquee wins over Fresno State, Texas A+M (who fired their coach), Mississippi State, and an LSU team that lost to Troy at home. Ohio State sucks too, Im just heated the USC didnt get more of a look. They lost 2 road games, including one to a ranked opponent on a short week, and another during a week that they had a player retire and a player get into a car accident (missed the game) on the Dline. They started 3 FRESHMAN that day against a ND Oline that have 2 first round picks on it. Damn

The quality of competition mart have worked against the trojans the pac wasnt as strong this year as in the past. Ohio state probably should have got it, but karma is a bitch. Bama was gonna get it because sec is a money mart. Total joke though. Hoping that ucf got a look.

Tide will “roll” to the championship.  Sad, but it’s what the money making machine wants.

Aside from the nodak game usc should have gotten a look though. Bama isnt that strong this year. It looks like clemson is the best bet.

I’m cheering for whomever is playing Bama, but I think the refs will call for them.

They had the number 11 strength of schedule this year though  Bama was at 59, OSU at 35.

You guys will get in next year for sure, but i think they ruled against you guys because of the down years in the pac for ucla, utah, and cal and the committee always has a hard on for any team out of the sec.
