MrCanucks-17
UPDATE: My son was born on 06/30/12 and we went back and forth with the name. Here is the result: Jack Marshall Kesler Larkin. Yup, two middle names! Go Canucks Go!
Raoul Duke
Very girly name IMO. Would sound good as a girl's middle name or something.

Drybone
I'm from Seattle and love the Canucks. Of course my favirote player is from the USA, Ryan Kesler. So my wife and I just found out were having a boy around July 4th. Ryan Kesler is my top male role model for his passion, determination, and back checking. What do you all think of naming my son Kesler? I love it, my wife not so much. Just looking for feedback here, and hopefully some ammunition I can use on my wife Also, yes I have already though of Bieksa as a first name (LoL) Mr Canucks #

canucks.brad
i am not a fan at all of names being chosen based on fav players/celebrities. imo it shows no originality and consideration for your kid. will he like the name kesler? will he care about hockey? nuckin_futz
First of all, congrats. Secondly, it's a good thing you're not a huge Jiri Bubla fan. Bubla Larkin just doesn't have much panache.

etsen3
I wouldn't have done it. Not that I don't like Kesler, but I'm not a fan of naming kids after athletes or other celebrities. A name is a big deal, it sticks with a person for life. It's not something I would just screw around with. I might name my dog after Kesler, but never a person. That's just my opinion though. Still, congrats on the baby.
