If Schnieder is our guy next year and Lu gets traded, Schnieds will have poor games, let in bad goals, and get lit up a few times. If Lu is still the guy next year and Schnieds gets traded, same thing for him. Simple. This is just reality for every goalie in the NHL. Starters, back-ups, great goalies, bad goalies, Vezina Trophy winners. They all have off nights, let in weak goals, and get lit up for 4 or more goals, sometimes they lose the game, sometimes the team can win it for them and help the goalie out like tonight.
