Absolute Classless Reaction Of Lu Pull.

watch the video.......they boo when the goal is scored, not when Luongo is pulled. That was for the poor defensive coverage of the team, and their lack of effort to that point, not Luongo specifically. People in this thread are making it out like they boo'd as Lu skated to the bench, which they did not. Unless you're crying about the loud cheer for CS

We all know he didn't play a great game, but come on. I think the fans need to be a bit classier (especially considering a whole bunch of them are like corporate marketers).

As inconsistent as he may be, how many other goalies have given the Canucks a long run in the playoffs after facing adversity?

I feel sorry for you, always seeing the negative in everything.

A crowd cheering the incoming goalie because of a coaches decision to replace a goalie that admitted himself was having a bad game...4 goals on 15 shots. THIS IS A NORMAL REACTION IN ANY ARENA.

Wow, you honestly think that the vast majority of those cheering had nothing to do with Cory coming in, but everything to do with making Luongo feel like a loser. I'd hate to live in your bitter little mind on a daily basis.

Schneider let in 3 goals against one of the worst offensive teams in the league, let in a very stoppable 2nd goal that was the tiebreaker and couldn't make another save to stop the 3rd goal which really killed us.

See, both our goalies can sound bad when you chalk it up like that. At the end of the day, our defence is playing horribly right now. None of these goalies are letting in softies, of the last 7 goals allowed by a Canucks goalie...

Getzlaf goal was a weak one by Luongo.

Perry goal was a weak defensive play by Alberts and Salo. Alberts was caught along the boards leaving a 2-on-1 down low and let Perry walk right into the crease, no chance for any goalie.

Pelley goal was a terrible play by Gragnani, he was supposed to be covering his man but was for some reason way out of position and just caught.

2nd Pelley goal was another brutal play by Gragnani. Raymond can be blamed for not checking Pelley, but no defenceman should let a pass go straight through him like Gragnani did.

1st Camelleri goal was all Bieksa's fault, for some reason he just stopped following his man and he was left wide open in the crease.

Glencross goal was partially Schneider's fault, partially Henrik's fault. Sure it was a giveaway deep in our zone, but Schneider was caught handcuffed and not ready for a shot against which he was facing head-on.

2nd Camelleri goal was a great play by him to skate around the net quickly and allude the defensive-zone positioning, so Edler, Henrik and Gragnani are all to blame for this one. No way Schneider should have to stop a rebound right next to him getting chipped up from the crease, the defencemen and centreman should of picked up Camelleri.

You guys should look at it the other way.. Luongo is STUCK here for another 11 years.. and not we are stuck with Luongo for another 11 years.. What goalie or players in the right mind wants to be associated with a team who's fans will be all over booing them regardless of whatever they have done for the team? Even their franchise leader in points and goals were trashed around in his later years with the team.. i mean look at other teams around the league? how many of them with inconsistent player with a huge contract? plenty... do they get anywhere close to the crap we give to Luongo here? don't think so.. even Scott gomez gets off way easier than Luongo... other cities make fun of Luongo.. what does CDC do? join in with the other cities in making fun of their OWN player lol... you guys call urself more educated than other fans.. i think most are just as uneducated as most of the other fans.. i wonder why most the other fans calls us the most classless fans in the league.. hell even some of our own ppl are calling ourselves classless.. oh btw don't say it's only those ppl at the game that are classless.. coz you damn well know that most ppl would do the same thing if you were at the game.... Maybe going back to the late 90s where we consistently bottom out and miss the playoff will teach some of the newer generation of fans they ain't entitled to everything...

No they will not. We do not pay any of their salaries. We buy products because we choose to. The profits go to the NHL and the company that own the Canucks. The Canucks pay their salaries. I don't know where you work, but do you feel every customer or client personally pays your salary?

First of all, only weak arguments need to be backed up with childish insults. Get off the playground and join the adults.

Secondly, you are ignorant if you believe your payment to a company goes directly to an employee's salary. No matter how much your cable bill is, your payment is not directly converted into a pay packet for Cheryl, a (fictional) tech in Surrey.

Seriously, which exact player do you think your Canucks related spending each year pays? That is not how business works. Your CHOICE to buy products contributes to their overall profits of the team (and the NHL) but you have no way of knowing where all of their profits come from or how much of your dollars, if any, go directly to any player's salary. Further more, if you don't like the service or product you get, take your business elsewhere. That is how business works.

Well if the profits go to the NHL then the profits also go to teams like Phoenix and Columbus that lose money every year. So if their respective owners can't afford to pay fit team/salaries then the league does so are we not paying the Canucks players salaries indirectly to some degree as well as other teams players in losing markets?
