I can't see Toronto giving up the 5th along with Schenn. I would be fine with just taking the 1st and the 3rd for Lu straight.

I would take the New York deal. Getting a nice early 2nd and 3rd rounder would make up for losing Rodin, plus getting rid of Ballard sounds good to me.

thank god another lu thread im sorry but as nice as it would be the proposal in the op will never happen, we're gettin slightly fleeced with the couple i saw afterwards. burke needs a goalie more than we need to trade. If tml dont make the playoffs then burkes reign will be over. the jets might be in the race as well for one of our tenders if pavelec (misspelled) bolts to the khl which would most likely be schneids. hope this happens soon cus i've resorted to reading hockeybuzz for humor. is there any good sites to get rumors and other news thats not garbage?

Schultz sure, but K Con does own significantly more upside than Tanev.

Tanev scores the spot this year, but hi comment was based on who gets the role 3 years down the road. By that time he either has learned what Tanev knows now, and takes the spot or he is a bust. But if he learns the steady dependable side of the game, he owns the big shot, speed, Bieksa like middle weight toughness and puck handling, puck distribution skills that make him the winner.

Have you not heard of the proposals section before? And Tanev and Schultz would easily get a roster spot before K-Conn does.
