AppleJack Posted February 16, 2013 Share Posted February 16, 2013 I do this all the time! My friends think I am crazy but they know better now to question my love of all things Canucks. I can't really watch games with my friends because the only other person I know who loves hockey like I love hockey is a Flames fan And so I tend to either schedule around the Canucks Schedule or I force my friends to watch Canuck games with me even if they dislike hockey. I tend to miss like three games a season because I am attending anime conventions but I always try and look up the highlights. Probably the only other thing I would miss a game for (and really this is just a period) is to watch The Walking Dead! Most of my friends aren't hockey fans, they wouldn't watch the game with me and there's nothing wrong with that. Seriously guys, you can afford to miss a few games over the season to hang out with friends instead. Ditching friends to stay home is pretty brutal.
