Riviera82
Wait a second... I just crunched the numbers and, with the "horrible" season we're having, we are on pace for 100 points if this would be a full 82 game season. If that's us in an off year, count ourselves pretty damn lucky.
DeNiro
A few tidbits on Derek Roy: Captained the Kitchener Rangers to a Memorial Cup alongside Mike Richards. Named OHL playoff MVP and Memorial Cup MVP. Has won World Junior and World Championship Silver. Holds the record for fastest playoff goal ever scored at 9 seconds. Riviera82
You go to the Canucks website and all you see are players kissing babies and other idiotic pr crap. Whatever happened to playing hockey? I guess that's passe with this organization.
hockeyking
This probably wont be a popular opinion, but maybe if the Canucks weren't always quite so involved in the community they would have more time to focus on their profession, which has needed a little bit of fine tuning this whole season. Just a thought, maybe I'm wrong though.
fagin
then wouldn't that apply to everybody so nobody should be involved in the community because they also need time to focus on their profession

fagin
Why can't it apply to other jobs not in the entertainment profession.
VancouverStyle
With the addition of Roy to the line up, the Canucks look more balanced down the middle, and if he is playing on the second powerplay unit they will look more dangerous offensively. Hoping for a win. go nucks go
RunningWild
Canucks have only played 13 games this yr with more PP's than opponent. For comparison, Hawks have played 22 games with more PP's than opponent (that's nearly double than what Canucks get). Canucks are one of the best puck possession teams in the league - meaning 95% of games they have the puck more than their opponent. So how on earth does a team who always has the puck never play games with more PP's than opponent? Makes no sense. Hate the officials. /End of rant. Time to put the Oilers in their place - which is losing hockey games. Go Canucks Go! Welcome Roy, Happy B-day Lu Lu!
