Sticking with Tretiak.

Sticking to my nomination of Viktor Konovalenko.

Konovalenko played goal for the Torpedo Gorky (now Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod) team from 1956 to 1972. He led the Soviet team to the IIHF World Championships title every year from 1963 to 1968, 1970, and 1971. He was named the most valuable player in the Soviet league in 1970.

He also won Olympic gold in '64 and '68.

The Konavalenko Sports Palace, arena for the Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod Team, is named after him.

Voted Tretiak

Nominate once again Boris Mikhailov (who also got two nominations last time).  Mikhailov, played right wing on the top Soviet line of the 1970s, along with left winger Valeri Kharlamov and center Vladimir Petrov. During Soviet League play, he played in 572 games, scoring a record 427 goals along with 224 assists for a record 651 points.  That's nearly a goal a game!  Mikhailov also had 200 goals with the National team, second most in Russian history, and capatained the Russians to two Olympic gold medals.  Mikhailov was one of the very few to receive the finest order of the Soviet Union, the Order of Lenin.  Google any list of top 10 Russian hockey players of all time and Mikhailov will likely be on that list.

I'm voting for Vladislav Tretiak, far and away the best Russian goaltender of All-Time and the goaltender who shocked the Canadians with his stellar goal tending in 1972.

I'm gonna nominate Boris Mikhailov. Scored 427 goals in 572 games in Soviet Russia mostly in the 70s. He even had 40 goals in 35 games in 1974-75.

Voting Pavel Bure. During his time, he was a more dominant and electrifying player than Larionov, Fedorov, and Mogilny. Yes all those players were great as well, and racked up points, but none of them had the mind blowing drive to the net that Bure had. What Bure brought to the game is something that doesnt come around very often, although Ovechkin shows Bure like flashes.

Ill nominate Boris Mikhailov
