BI3KSA-
Hope he's given a shot somewhere...I kinda turn a blind eye whenever his name is brought up cuz of the way MG handled things
BI3KSA-
He did get a chance to prove himself with us. he failed. It sucks and I wish it were not so. The day he took that puck in the eye I knew we lost the cup right there. He's a good guy and great competitor but he needs to hang them up. It totally sucks. Burrows' Breath
Explain yourself? I don't get that response often so what was on your mind? You don't think we'd have a cup if we had Manny healthy through the playoffs? Kesler would not have had to kill himself in my opinion before round four and I felt as soon as Manny went down our cup went with him. If you disagree, how about explaining why instead of emoticon spam. (No, do not count having half a Manny in the end)

Hunter.S-Kerouac
I am hoping the Canucks Org can bring him into player development. I would love it if he could vet Bo Horvat, Gaunce and Lain, and turn them into 3 great 2 way centers.
oldnews
I hope he stays with us if it's a consensus around the league that his eye is too risky to his health. I also hope that informal sessions with Canucks players means schooling Gaunce, Lain et al in the art of dominating the faceoff circle at the NHL level. VanGnome
That's sad, he may not have been as good as in 2010, but I think he still has a lot to give. Not too impressed Gillis told the world he was not fit to play when really it is Mannys decision.
johngould21
Does Manny have any contractual obligations with the Canucks? I thought his contract ended last season.

johngould21
He doesn't, that is why he is looking for a PTO from basically any team. It is very unlikely he is going to get one, which is why many people on here are wanting him to join the Canuck's on a player development/coaching level. Rick Grimes
I don't think his relationship with the team is sour; I think his relationship with AV is sour - and considering I've heard he doesn't like NY anymore anyways.... LOL. I sincerely hope he gets a tryout somewhere if it wouldn't hurt him to play.
Jaku
It's quite unfortunate that Manny got hurt. But for him to go out and look for a tryout should be out of the question.
yogolol
All of you saying you want him back in some type of coaching management role, don't count on it. I certainly wouldn't want to go work for the company that fired me and blacklisted my name around the league so I couldnt find another job, I wouldn't go crawling back to them.
