We were outplayed tonight, so the loss shouldn't be of a big surprise considering we couldn't sustain much in the offensive zone. Lui kept it a really close game for us, but the Redwings were superior on puck possession, and it seemed as if every pass from a Canuck player made it's way to a Redwings player. Simply got beaten by the better team tonight, but the Canucks could've given a much better effort than they laid out. Onto Leafs (which I'm so pissed I have to miss).... which we better annihilate. Luongo is the reason it was 2-1 not saying that's a bad thing but when your team only manages 1 goal and fluke goal at that your not winning that game unless the goalie stands on his head and he nearly did Tanev and Luongo share the blame for the 2-1 goal Tanev for lifting his leg and Luongo for not being ready for the shot it wasn't exactly a quick shot the 1-1 goal was basically a screw up by Stanton and Bieksa not being able to clear the front of the net letting Detroit win the puck battle Luongo played great overall despite giving up 2 goals and at 7-4-1 .909sv 2.46gaa not a bad October for him considering his history Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
