Gyllenhaal
The NHL should really consider breaking up the calder in to the 3 positions otherwise almost every year a forward will win it and it gives the young stars of the NHL more recognition. Best rookie forward (MacKinnon) Best rookie defenseman (Trouba) Best rookie goalie (Lack)

Best rookie forward (MacKinnon) Best rookie defenseman (Trouba) Best rookie goalie (Lack) i would rather see just goalie and skater there have been plenty of defenseman winning over forwards can't say the same about goalies

Absent Canuck
If there was a rookie goalie of the year award, no question it's Lacks but Mackinnon is running away with the calder race Speaking of Mackinnon I watched him the other night and my God the guy is amazing and only 18. The guy skates so fast all the other players look like they are standing stil. ' The only other guy I have seen play the game at that speed is Sidney Crosby. slappipappi
I'm not saying he should win it, but I'm just saying since Lack is top ten in SV% (#10) with .922 and GAA (#9) 2.22 and number one in rookie goalie stats in SV% and GAA.) Anderson has more wins (14-3, vs. 8-8-3), and a better save % and GAA. Jones is 8-4, vs. Lacks 8-8-3, and has a better save % and GAA. Raanta is 12-2-3, though his save % and GAA trail Lack's. So, Lack would rank 3-4 in rookie's if they were voting only goalies.

Yeah after Anaheim's game today Anderson is now the leading goalie in all stats that's not in Shutouts Hope Lack beats him out for it with Calder or not
RyanKeslord17
Lack is playing truly terricific, but no chance. This is like when somebody said Stanton had a chance
