MattFraser
So as you all remember, Gillis tried to sign Prospal to an AHL PTO to try and solve our scoring woes. But he just had to go and retire. So...now what? Is this it? Are we ever going to try and sign someone again? At this rate, our scoring woes are here to stay. I thought he was old and nobody wanted him but for a mid-season AHL tryout.

grandpahockey22
To me it's obvious prospal decided to retire rather then come to the canucks is because he doesn't wanna play here. The guy is approaching 40 and a veteran of that age doesn't wanna join a sinking ship or a bottom feeder. They want a cup run and my guess is he was hoping to get on with a contender. Hey, aren't you that guy who has been a Canucks fan since you moved into this area back in 1980. Weren't you were going off to watch Sharks games? regards, G. aliboy
It's pretty tough, if not impossible, to solve the current crisis with Walmart shopping, the normal fleamarket approach isn't going to work, at least, I doubt it.
