YummyCakeFace
Hutch got demoted today. I get the reasoning but it's weird to a see a pticher with a 12-2 record (yes I know his peripherals tell a different story) get demoted. I assume he will be back shortly. Wilbur
Cmon Twins!!! Edit - I think I jinxed them. I'm not going to expect any help from the Twins. This is the time of year when young teams tend to fade and the really highly paid veterans show their worth. Unless Tanaka or Nova go down, it's going to be a dogfight right until the end. ShakyWalton
Those 7 games against the Yankees in Sept. are pretty much going to decide it. It would be nice if the Yanks lose a few of their games in hand.

Well, one of the starter just went down with a ball in the face early in that game. Twins still couldn't win.
RUPERTKBD
Well, one of the starter just went down with a ball in the face early in that game. Twins still couldn't win. It was the wrong starter. Nova or Tanaka would really hurt the Yanks' chances. Mitchell? Not so much.

I think it's just a a matter f time till he's in the DL. That would help a lot.

They say he is, but it sure didn't look that way last time against the Jays...
RUPERTKBD
Michael Saunders has been shut down for the remainder of the season: http://www.tsn.ca/jays-of-saunders-shut-down-for-season-1.347355 Not really a surprise, but disappointing, nonetheless. The Jays could use an extra outfielder.

RonMexico
It couldn't have just been a meniscus tear. Those generally aren't that hard to come back from. It wasn't. They removed 60% of it. The problem is a bone bruise on the top of his tibia couldn't heal because the bruise kept reforming due to contact with the bottom of the femur. The lack of blood flow to the cartilage around the knee also means slow recovery.
theminister
Hopefully Tulo can have a good series against pitchers he is used to in the NL and Revere can give some pointers against the Phillies pitching.
CANUCK-EXPRESS
8 game road trip. I want jays to go 6-2 at least.

YummyCakeFace
Bautista really has to stop showing up the umps. Keep those emotions in check. Never gonna get a close call that way.
