[Article] Don't blame religion for rise of ISIS

ISIS, Al Qaida and the other terrorist groups are all about politics never about religion. its really funny how religion is being the main excuses for the development of these terrorist organization. Their motives, their actions and everything that they do or say is very unrelated to any religion even Islam. I just think that they try to use religion as some sort of tool to acquire more people into their organization and its an easier method of brainwashing people to join their group. Why would a CIA created Al Qaida ever be about Islam or any other religion? Although their method of brainwashing people and believing they are doing this for some religion has been very successful, just like the corporate marketing of Beats audio that take a $50 headphone and make it look like a $500 one. Similar methods of making people sheep or followers or making them haters just to gain popularity around the world and be relevant (have influence in the media).

Hmm, if not religion, then what? Or who?

Politics, money, power, fame, influence etc. Religion is just a sideshow to distract people of what is really going on. People just like to point out what seems to be obvious yet they have very little clue or knowledge about what is really going on. In a way, the corporate America can be linked to most of these "Islamic terrorist organizations". Bin Laden was probably living in Washington with Bush senior before Al Qaida became famous for 9/11.

Religion is a tool to draw in the weak minded, uneducated, and desperate to create an army of mindless drones to do the dirty work that the leaders themselves are too cowardly to do.

Yup, that's pro-war Senator John McCain pictured with the 'cannibal terrorist' to his right, and ISIS leader al Baghdadi to his rear left earlier this year in Syria when he was drumming up war support back home. The interesting thing to me is that the US has been simultaneously funding ISIS in Syria and fighting ISIS in Iraq. But thanks to the new Doublethink almost everyone seems to have no trouble supporting this.

Someone said that guy in the background right behind McCain is that Al-Baghdadi twat who runs ISIS now. Kinda looks like him at least. Anyway, F McCain. He's a lunatic and Bill Maher was on the money. If McCain was president, the States would be at war on 9 different fronts and wars they they obviously can't afford personnel wise or financially.

After thinking about this for a while it occured to me that its entirely possible their entire leadership may have no religious preference whatsoever.

What they do is use religion as a banner to rally troops.

We all know that extremely bitter feuds of a religious nature have been going on for centuries, and these guys simply use that to their advantage.

That is exactly what is happening right now. Religion, in particularly Islam is one of the most powerful and influential tool that these terrorist groups have to recruit more people into their organization and drum up support from brainwashed people thinking these terrorist groups are fighting for their religion. All the money and time that these terrorist organization spend on weapons, recruitment and other stuff just isn't for some religion. It just would not make sense at all if it was just because of some religion or jihad.

These types of organizations will continue to arise in the region because it's pretty easy to hate foreign people who bomb your land, kill your women and children, install governments, take your resources and ensure that your people don't ever make any progress in the world.

If foreign people simply stopped doing that, then these types of organzations would find their followers less willing to act. Without the imminent threat of a 'dark enemy', they would simply return home and build their lives like the rest of us.

But these organizations could still build up fear about another attack coming down the road. So what would need to happen is for that threat to no longer be relevant. ie. Their country would have to become just as secure from invasion as the invading country is.

Religion plays little to no part here. That aspect is built up by the west in part of the propaganda package designed to justify their perpetual invasions of the region. The racist/religious type of murican sheeple are the easiest to rile up in this fashion, so that's why this type of propaganda is being used.

Give it up.... no one is going to think giving these people nukes is a good idea

You're right. It's because we're busy being brainwashed into thinking that these common people like you and I are actually evil forces hellbent on our destruction.

Let me remind you of a little date in the past, September 11th, 2001. I guess that those 3000+ people(rip) did something to deserve what jihadists gave them?

So let me get this straight.. its not really about religion but the leaders just "use" religion to rally and convince the 10's of thousands of members to join and fight..

so um.. then it is about religion for all the guys actually doing the shooting, bombing and beheading

What was the point again?

As opposed to groups like ISIS who do the exact same thing?
