Abortion rates tend to be higher in more sexually repressed areas. Dating has pretty much always been about sex. You're way out in left field on the subject. Yes, I've heard of Caligula. There was an article/whatever that came out in 1948 saying that humans should feel free to express their sexual desires however they can, and to have sex as much as they want with whoever they want. Ever since then, our culture has gone down socially. Divorce rates have gone up, abortion rates have gone up, dating is all about sex now. In fact, pretty much everything is about sex now, and the internet hasn't helped. Human beings are, and have been sex crazed, forever. Our hormones tend to go wild after puberty... That's why sex really doesn't have a lot of meaning to our culture any more except that it's a rite of passage for men and I don't know what for women. And easy access to porn hasn't helped, either.
