I haven't seen Man of Steel, but from the trailer it looks more like Kent has been abusing his powers and Wayne is forced to come out of hibernation to bring justice. Superman is the government/corporate hero and Batman is the pro-common man fighter. But in the end they finally get along, sort of, and form the core of the justice league. I was thoroughly disappointed at the extreme cheesiness. I guess I was spoilt after watching the great Chris Nolan Batman which imo is the best.
