Just gotta say man, it takes a very poor argument to continue the Macarthyism theory that public funding ='s soviet socialist communism.

That theory was put to bed decades ago but people STILL parrot it like it's true some how.  I am behind Sanders in this as he's head and shoulders above Clinton and far more preferable than Trump or Cruz would be.  America deserves that wake up call

Wake up calls usually aren't a good thing.

I must say it's been amazing to see Bernie last this long.  Trump too, actually.  Americans seem ticked off at the whole system, but they should be careful, as this divide presents, potentially, an even better opportunity for elitists to take more control and trample on the citizens.

Love the Larry David Sanders bit though.  Apparently they'll be on SNL the same time.

This how bad the U.S is...

Socialist, religiois nutz, and complete nutz.

I don't think anyone can argue with that.

I think it's trying to find the least objectionable choice that would do the least harm on the world stage while doing the best at home.

No doubt.  But they deserve one.  Pretending they have choice when their candidates are so interchangeable.

Main reason I am rooting for bernie.  He will actually try to change things from the norm.  He'll get shot or killed off no doubt, but he'll be entertaining.  Like an elderly person kicking over an anthill

Over 6100 posts and you still aren't familiar with board rules. Come on I expect better of you..

Ok. I could elaborate on why your post is just laughable, but it seems lol really captures the essence of my thoughts. Plus it's not worth arguing into a black hole over this so I'll just laugh and move on.

So again you added nothing to the thread?

You are right though, you should move on. Especially if you aren't even discussing the topic at had, which you aren't.

Vs the cost of war in the US.

http://watson.brown.edu/costsofwar/costs/economic

Frightening right?  $4.4 TRILLION spent plus a near trillion more in lost investment opportunities and even more in lost building in the US.

And they post a cute sheet calling things like "free Jobs" and "Free infrastructure" instead of realizing building infrastructure leads to jobs which leads to so much more.  Without mentioning that these are possible initial costs of creation/investment and forgetting to factor in the amount that will be returned over time.

The US is in such trouble that they'll tear themselves apart before letting someone try something new or different.  And they'll lie through their teeth to ensure it doesn't happen

Should we go round and round like this?

You got me to laugh, that's it.

The USA goes down, and the world gets sucked into the toilet with them.  What happens to the civilized world every time - historically- the ruling empire collapses?  Brutal war and horrific consequences.  Can you say, "back to the Stone Age"?  :o

This certainly is a possibility.

It's a certainty.  Fresh water will be the root cause.  Is not much of our fresh water frozen, and is melting rapidly, combining with the salt sea water?  We can always print enough money to prop up the world's economy, but water is another problem all together.  "Water, water everywhere/ and not a drop to drink."

Luckily, I've found out thru my travels that one country has split water rights separately from real property rights and making available for purchase...coupled with it's low population density, decent weather, and fertile farmland, I think I found myself a lifeboat...

And we are in between a Bear and an Eagle.  Afghanistan has oil pipelines, and look how that turned out for them.^_^
