They can hit, they can move the puck quickly, They play physical game they put up points. They are incedible skaters They are invaluable to this team. Bening must make it a priority to resign them. Lastresort318 Posted June 26, 2016 Share Posted June 26, 2016 Weber and physical don't belong in the same sentnce. Neither is a good point producer. Both are decent skaters but that is about it. They would be seventh defensemen on a team with a weak dfwnsive ave little to no value and to be honest, we have much better options. They don't fit on our team. Ossi Vaananen Posted June 26, 2016 Share Posted June 26, 2016 I'll give that they both can skate, but the upside stops there. Both Weber/Bartkowski are terrible in their own zone. Their offensive games, which were supposed to be a strength this past season, are sub-par at best. They'll hit free agency, and will likely be looking at contracts in Europe. Weber has, and always will be a plug. I'd much rather the 5th and 6th slots on the blueline go to players with the potential to be much better than Bart or Weber.
