I just realized, Pittsburgh is the only team remaining that has won a cup since the 2004-05 NHL lockout.

The remaining 6 teams in the playoffs (Vegas, Winnipeg, Nashville, Tampa Bay, Washington, and Pittsburgh) have combined to win 6 Stanley Cups. The Penguins have 5 of those.

This Penguins team is definitely the weakest of the past 3 seasons.

Not sure about that, talent-wise they're pretty much the same. Washington has just been outplaying them throughout this series despite being heavy underdogs.

Pens and their fans have absolutely nothing to feel bad about if they lose tonight. Sure, losing sucks, but they've had the best run of hockey the past decade and Crosby and Malkin and Letang are in their primes still which leaves next year and the next few years open to another run.

Agreed. But nothing spells dynasty like 3peat champs. It's hard not to want to see something like that again.
