AHL?

AHL and NHL seasons count.

We also have to have players eligible for Seattle to select in expansion. (that fit the games played requirements)

this breaks it down.

Capfriendly's Expansion Draft Simulator is a good guide for who is eligible to be selected, who is exempt and who qualifies to meet exposure requirements if left unprotected.

We have worked out Vegas players as well, we will post those when we get closer to the expansion draft, but PM me if you have a specific question regarding a players status and I will let you know.

Many thanks for getting this done, happy to have all these guys signed. Gildon is a project, but also the only one I didn't draft. Likhachyov as with most Russians seemed to think he needed more, despite not being NHL drafted in back to back years, but we got him inked anyway. Hope he doesn't sleep in one time, as that is what apparently stopped Ho-sangs Primadona career in its tracks. :P

Kallionkieli, Clarke, Misyul, and Protas are all looking nice in their post draft play, we might see Protas in a few games as early as next year.

Not bad for 2 thirds and 4 fourth round players, if I do say so myself.

The next 3 days are going to likely decide our fate. If we can keep it close with the @Sludge and the Hawks after this weekend we might still have a chance.

Chicago has a 30 point lead. Both teams have lots of Canadian representation but the Hawks have a goalie in markstrom.

This should be a real nail bitter.

Best of luck @Sludge

Jesperi Kotkaniemi off to a slow start since his move to Columbus.

Montreal Canadiens assign Jesperi Kotkaniemi to AHL's Laval Rocket - TSN.ca

Some fans may be gaining weary about Kotkaniemi's pointless drought since coming over to Columbus. Team GM Rush17 though is not the least bit worried. "We understand it takes a bit sometimes to adjust to a new environment. Our coaches are working closely with Jesperi and the biggest thing we are now stressing is just go out and enjoy the game. We are in a playoff race but we have to have realistic expectations for all of our kids. The same goes for guys like Dylan Cozens who has seen some hot and cold streaks this season. Patience is a virtue - Jesperi knows with the proper patience and persistence things will eventually lead to success.

Being able to acquire young a talented younger player really got us excited as a management team. We gave up a lot of promise to acquire Jesperi but we are still very happy with the decision. We wish all of our former players the best and hope to see them playing important minutes in san jose in the near future! The biggest thing with young players though is setting realistic expectations and showing patience in them as they find their way not only on a new team but often in a new league. We look forward to the next couple of days to see where our team can take us. With injuries to our top 2 defenders it may prove to be a hill to steep to climb but we will continue to put one foot in front of the other and continue down this path. What's the worst that can happen anyways? We miss the playoffs - that wouldn't be the end of the world this season. \

Best of luck to everyone in the home stretch as they try to joggle for better playoff or draft position! Look forward to a fun off-season with you all!

CBJ assigns Dylan Cozens to the Cleveland Monsters as his season has ended.

CBJ recalls Anton Blidh and Gerald Mayhew to the NHL.

Neither forwards are likely to play but why not give myself every last chance. Girard is on IR. Please place blidh on D for emergency reasons for the 1 allowable week.
