We’re guessing tandem/starter, but time will tell. If you do have interest, you are welcome to let me know at your earliest convenience. We do we feel like we found some vets that will come in and play important minutes for us instead. We still love our forward group even without Nazem Kadri who was a big part of our team last year. Obviously our defence got hit pretty hard this offseason but we managed to lock up a piece we have highly coveted in Justin Holl for some time now so we are pretty excited about that. Training camp will be more competitive this year than it has been for a few and I imagine lots of players are going to get looks in our lineup this year. We are excited about some of the players that we locked up that have played at a high levels outside of the NHL. We are still continuing to explore all possibilities as we continue to fill-out our organizational depth chart and hope that we once again have a group that can make a genuine run at the coveted CDCGML cup. Ryan Kesler has been a GML Jet since the inception of the league and it's tough to see his career ending this way. He was (and still is) a personal favourite of mine. Adding defencemen Reilly and Spurgeon through Free Agency has given us an outlook that we never had last year. We are finally happy with our Defence moving forward adding Carlsson and Poolman in the mix as well. Goaltending. Losing Ullmark to Free agency was a blow but we’ve found our franchise Goaltending through the trade market. Nedeljkovic and Kahkonen are one of the best young tandem in the entire league. We look forward to them both getting even better as they grow their games. With the forward group we moved out some players and brought in others but we also achieved depth we never had last year. The acquisition of Zacha gives us some versatility up front as we needed to improve our Center position. Adding JVR give us some experience and scoring ability for our young players to play with. We also expect our young forwards to take the next step this year. We are very excited to see Top Rookies Lundell and Seider at camp and believe they will be on our team this year playing important roles. Currently we have a roster spot open on either the forward or defence group. Greenville will provide some competition as we near training camp and we still may have to make some tough decisions.
