Popular Post Nail
FREE AGENCY FINALIZED LINK: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16lzQ84PdVGuH4x-xGOwsmw1TKPk__Yj1u7b3vojbDfU/edit#gid=555877513 Teams still have until 11:59 PM PST tonight to begin or continue negotiations with players, however it is no guarantee that a player will accept any offers (previously on the table or new) now that the free agent frenzy has begun. Teams may send in offers for any free agents as of 12:00 AM on July 11th. There will be no communication between Nail (the player agent) and teams regarding their offers until July 13th at the very earliest. Signings will begin on July 13th. Not all offers will receive a response if there is a big disparity in terms of the quality of the offer between two teams. If there is a conflict of interest regarding a player (i.e. Vegas is also offering for the player), all communication will be handled by @Relyt Krets. I am clearing out my inbox of any past negotiations, please submit all free agent offers in a new PM. I ask that you use one PM per each player offer and that you include the name of the player you are offering for in the PM Title. If necessary, please also list the priority for the players you are offering for in your offer if you are offering for multiple and only need one. As with previous years, the players with the most interest will generally be the first players to sign, creating a trickle down effect to the players with less offers. This year, there will be a bit of a wrinkle to our free agent frenzy, as I am going on a multi-week Southeast Asia vacation, leaving on July 20th. We will have free agent signings for one week between the 13th to the 19th, but after that everything in the league will be put on hold until I return. I apologize for this inconvenience but hopefully everyone is okay with it If you have any questions, please let me know. This is an exciting time for everyone and although our UFA pool may not be as deep as year's past, there are some hidden gems out there whether they are from the NCAA or from Europe or from other leagues not in the NHL. These players are the ones that can turn teams from good to great! 4
HighOnHockey
Sharks lines going into free agency: DeBrincat - Barkov - Bjorkstrand Thompson - Crosby - Hartman Eklund - Larsson - Brown Engvall - Chmelevski/O'Connor - Gagner Toews - Severson Shattenkirk - Fabbro Soucy - Walker Durzi, McDermid Bobrovsky Vejmelka Ideally would like to add a third line center to bump Larsson down, but we just saw our top two targets sign hours before the deadline, so we'll continue exploring the trade market as well. By far our most likely candidate to move would be Oliver Bjorkstrand. We have very little left for valuable futures we're willing to move after the Crosby trade, but we could swap Bjorkstrand one for two, and we can add money in the process - perhaps something like one good player plus one iffy contract. Also open to flipping Bjorkstrand straight across for a similarly valued but more expensive player on a playoff team.
