You have a sick sense of fun.

Unless you’re rooting for them to take each other’s heads off I have no idea how it’s fun to watch two rivals in the playoffs.

First battle of Alberta since 91, me being butt hurt about the Canucks missing the playoffs doesn’t change the fact we missed the playoffs. Would rather see a good series if we’re not in it over being bored to death watching Dallas any longer.

Didn't Montreal win the Cup in 1971 and then draft Guy Lafleur with the 1st overall pick a couple months later?

Yup they made a trade with the dumb ass California Golden Seals to get their pick.

Imagine Guy Lafleur as a Golden Seal wearing those white skates.

Via trade by highway robbery with the California Golden Seals.

California Golden Seals.  The most legendary nickname in NHL hockey history...

Yeah, but Sam Pollock fleeced California in a trade to get that pick...

Interesting factoid about that trade....California (formerly called the Oakland Seals) was being run by owner Charlie "O" Finley, which shows that just because you're rich enough to own a team, it doesn't mean you're qualified to run one....
