After being compelled to root for the Laffs and coolers, I’m sure that Juice is in a facility being “deprogrammed”.

The panel is bland and lifeless without him. Hopefully he returns next week in fighting trim.

Come back to us dear Juice. You are sorely missed.

Word is he’s auditioning for Shorthouse’s  colour man.

My point is, playing with such an advantage is like having an extra queen (in this case, Mark Stone) added at the start of the game (series).

Toronto's "Queens" didn't help them. Two of the greatest players(McDavid/Draisaitl) going today didn't do much either. Just sayin.

It’s easy to hate Vegas. But they’ve been really close. Now they have Eichel. It’s like he’s the superstar they needed.
Buffalo :picard:

Yes he may be the final piece they needed.

Are you being purposely daft? The LTIR loophole and tax benefits of no income tax states provide the extra pieces on the board. Oilers and Leafs didn't have that.

Tampa is another prime example. No state taxes and Kuch on LTIR for entire season.

So only the teams with lower tax brackets are attracting the best players in the NHL? If any player is looking for a big payday, I don't want him on the team anyway. Am I missing something to your point?

You haven't been paying attention to this league. It's all good bud. This is a mismatch. Have a good evening.

Well we had Gillis trying to get fancy with loopholes in the CBA where Buttman & Jeremy Jacobs laid down the law on the Canucks.

We'll they should lay down the law on Fla and TB too ffsakes.

Yeah you are going to have to be more specific because I am not seeing what you are seeing as being blatantly obvious. I am sure a few players see the opportunity to make a little more money and that fine. Whether they make 10 million or a 11 million? Not sure if they are concerned that much as they want to be on a winning team. Everyone has an opinion on it though and I am not seeing it.

You have a good evening as well.

Seattle would have choked them with their tentacles.

Did you see my really cool watch in the other thread? !!

It's really cool! I put a new band on it and have been wearing it out and about.
