That sucks.  Employers need to make an effort to give workers  regular shifts if at all possible. If its not possible, then good communication is critical / essential.

Not having work is super stressful and its tough to make plans when you aren't kept in the loop by irresponsible managers...

Hope you get the call back soon.  In the meantime , try to spend time with those close to you in your life. Do something special with them and tell them how much they mean to you.  Life goes by way too quick.

Been like this since i started with them.Really late on the warning if no work the next day i get paid by the hour so no work means no pay.
