PlayStation
My damn tv stand cost a grand 5-6 years ago! And it weighs more than the damn tv! 5 grand or so for the entire set! (home theatre included) Now go away!

DonLever
Wrong forum to ask this question. Ever heard of Redflagdeals.com? People discuss deals like electronics there. Good place to find deals. Especially hot deals. Once they are posted there, stuff sell out fast.
LeanBeef
I payed 900 bucks for the samsung smart un55d6000 led tv during boxing day. Wait for boxing day, you'll save a good 100-500 bucks.

taxi
Sharp has been cranking out extremely large TV's and getting bad reviews from what I've seen, I'm wondering if it's a desperate move to get a foothold on that niche of marketshare due to the lack of options at popular places like Best Buy, Futureshop, Costco, Tigerdirect, etc. I've owned one Sharp 46 inch and two Samsung's, 40 and 55, I have a preference for Samsung TV's based on how well they've done but am not one of those brand loyalists.. hoping Sharp's frenetic pace into that size of screen brings others, and brings on wall-size form fitting OLED as well.
