I liked this for its discription of game elements that were NEW and exciting at the time.
Dun Caesar
I regularly play NES and SNES, I usually order 1-2 classic games a month, although some can get quite pricey ($50+).

Hat Trick Maker
After two years of inaction, I reinstalled the greatest competitive shooter ever made this morning... ...and was surprised to still find 700+ servers for a game that came out almost 14 years ago. Although many of them are empty, they could fill up pretty quickly if you are lucky and patient enough. The game may not enjoy the same popularity as Counter-Strike or Call of Duty, but the game is such a classic that I just never get sick of playing it. I had a blast today. kurtis
Finished Half-Life: Opposing Force and HL: Blue Shift recently. The second one was surprisingly short.
GrainWetzky
I have currently installed: Planescape: Torment (with widescreen and better resolution patches) Might and Magic VII (I've beaten it 3 times, but I still enjoy to play it once every few years) I can't play old games anymore with all the system changes for mac and pc. Scott Hartnell's Mane
I play on my NES emulator all the time...I'm pretty nostalgic when it comes to gaming...I had at one time..an Atari, an Atari Jaguar, a Sega Dreamcast, a Saturn, Turbografx16...spent way too much time at the local arcades growing up and was practically glued to the Galaga machine. Our Pizza Hut just brought in n old Galaga machine and I'm constantly coming up with different reasons to go in, just use the restroom, play about 4 games and leave without having to buy their greasy pizza.. lol. î мцšт вяздк чфµ
I heard Unity of Command is good and there's a demo for it. http://unityofcommand.net/ http://store.steampo....com/app/218090 If you also like grand strategy games, you might wanna check out the Hearts of Iron games. http://store.steampo....com/app/25890/ None of the games I mentioned are retro by any means though. Ossi Vaananen
Yeah, it was probably the best turn-based RPG for x360 when it came out. Cool story: I got to the very last dungeon of it, got busy with work for a few weeks, xbox RROD'd and I never finished it. I like the short stories that you unlock along the way. A nice touch. The Situation
My all time favourite game is Neverwinter Nights. A close second is Knights of the Old Republic. Third would be Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. They are all barely 10+ years old and some of the their expansions are younger. Other games would be Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Paper Mario, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask. I don't think any on my list would be considered "retro".
