Christian Ehrhoff maybe? 6'2 fast skating defencemen that can create offence
Corrado 6'2 fast skating defencemen that is currently playing very solid offence.

Well, I , I feel very good about this draft, but I, I think, potentially you know were gonna have 3 or 4 NHL players out of this group, ummmm, you know like we are not going to prejudice to were they are from.

The difference is he's positionally sound defensively on top of that. He's not quite the pure offensive talent, but is not going to be a liability in any zone.

Ya Corrado does the little things right. He's really upped his offensive game this season, now I'd just like him to throw in some physicality, then he'd be perfect! Stoked for this kid.

Like I've been saying for a year now, Corrado is going to be a Bieksa 2.0 with the Defensive stability of Hamhuis.

Corrado has stood out every time I've seen him play. He's got a bright future with the Canucks.

He's from my home town in Woodbrige, ON. Cool to see a local boy play so well at this level, and to top it off he's a Canucks prospect.

Reading through some tweets, "error free" "strong 2-way" "elevated game" "confident" are the words most commonly described with Corrado.

It's too bad there's so many top defenseman in the CHL right now.

Would love to see what Corrado could do on the World Junior stage.

You have to think the incumbents are going to keep their spots (Hamilton, Harrington, and Murray), so there's likely only going to be 4 available spots and at least 1 of those spots has to go to a QMJHL member, so only 3 spots that Corrado is eligible for.

Yea with guys like Rielly, Reinhart, Dumba, and Subban to compete with.

It ain't happening unless there's an injury. And even then he's gotta beat out guys like Ceci, Murphy, and Finn.

Frankie looked way better than Harrington all game, he should make it on the team before Harry...

I hope so too, but Harrington's got the experience from last year's WJC.

Be great to see another late round draft pick turn out, Corrado might surprise. Bieksa anyone? One can only hope.. :P

Good news for sure. It's nice to have some positive prospects comming through our system. In the early part of the last decade we sure had issues developing prospects.

Bob McKenzie@TSNBobMcKenzie

Wow, Mckenzie with some nice comments about Nuck prospects. Of course, he prefaces it with "a work in progress.....but....

Anywhoo, Corrados playing on his offside tonight isn't he? He looks really good. Russians haven't had a lot of shots because of him.

Bobby used to like CoHo  ?

Kevin Connauton is pure offense with a booming shot. Chris Tanev is a stay at home d-man with a good first pass.

Frank Corrado is a blend of both.

This up here!

It really is unfair to compare players that aren't really alike.

Bieksa is known for offence and toughness while being good defensively at a number of points in his career. He's also struggled some years with consistency even when he was putting up points. If one part of his game isn't working, another usually stands out whether that's through points, fights, hits, or whatever.

Corrado on the other hand has played an all around game but is trying to improve both his defensive consistency against better opponents and adding offence more and more. He does stick up for his teammates but isn't particularly a fighter and he looks to become a consistent defencemen known for ability in all situations although he may not stand out significantly in any end of the ice.

Harrington has the experience of getting his ass kicked by the Russians. Seriously it should be based on merit not experience since its only a few games anyways. There are so many defense-mans that should be in Harrington's place and the same thing could of been said last year when he mysteriously made the team.

I think he can make it to the NHL here. Looks good, but is with Hamilton, so could have an effect on how good he looks.

he's a gem. Works hard and shoots the puck. If he can be more solid in his own end he will be like tanev, but shoots more. Not hugely intimidating, but a smart player. My guess is 7-20-27 +15 in his prime.
