NuckleheadFan
I'd take back the Neely. Another player (thou we didn't trade him away) that I wish we could have kept was Larionov.
Smashian Kassian
other than the big ones already mentioned (Neely, Ballard, Gelinas/McLean, Linden, etc.)... all of the trades we made at the 2006 deadline. Keith Carney, Eric Weinrich, Mika Noronen and Sean Brown. Holy crap they were terrible, and the team just nosedived after that anyway. I know all we gave up were draft picks and low-end prospects, but yikes, even one of those might've turned into something better down the road than those four. Smashian Kassian
Neely for sure. Having him aswell as Glen Wesley would really have helped.
pistolpro327
most recent would be grabner
King Heffy
Other than the obvious ones: February 2007: To Vancouver Canucks: Brent Sopel To Los Angeles Kings : 2nd round pick inr 2007 (Wayne Smimmonds) Canucks shold have known better than to want Sopel at this point, not to mention how nice Simmonds would look here right now. kmotamed
Russ Courtnall got us SO many shorthanded goals... He was a stud! And we kept it in the family since Geoff was already on the team then too!
SkeeterHansen
Stojanov for Naslund. Stupid move.
Master 112
Except they never traded Willie. He just never re-signed with the team after his contract was up and chose to sign in L.A. (for more money than the Canucks were offering) instead.
Edlerberry
In the last 15 years, the worst trade has been Grabner + 1st for Ballard.
Caledonian Canuck
Turn back the clock to the late 1990's and persuade the Vancouver management that they should treat Pavel Bure with the respect and honesty that he deserved, heal the wounds and not trade him away. We should never have let him leave and he should have retired a Canuck, watching his number 10 jersey rise to the rafters would have been appropriate. Now that he is deservedly in the Hall of Fame, I can only hope that plans to retire #10 are at an advanced stage. At least today's management can heal the rift and make up for past mistakes. brooker
The Bure trade. I know he said he would never play here but hey, if you can take back the Hodgson and force him to play well in a perfect world so would Bure. The other one is the Mogilny Trade. Not that I hate Alex or anything and we all know it benefited the team. But could you imagine the early 2000's with a line of cooke-peca-ruutu hahhahahaha that would be weird. nuckin_futz
I tell ya one I would never take back. When Pat Quinn flipped a useless Dan Quinn and an aging Garth Butcher into Cliff Ronning, Geoff Courtnall, Sergio Momesso and Robert Dirk. Thank you Ron Caron (RIP)
