Who on the Canucks frustrates you the most?

I can't suggest lineup changes since I never played pro hockey. What I do know is what is driving me crazy while our Canucks look to be failing again.

1. GM - Gillis had 2 years since Boston and hasn't made critical changes. Team is still too small. We also still have dollars held up in two goalies and Ballard. We knew 2 years ago, they should have been turned into productive assets by now.

2. Coach - I blame Gillis for not giving AV new tools but AV shouldn't be making big line changes heading into Game 1. He did it last year too. Aren't players supposed to learn to play together earlier! AV is acting too cute with these changes, its not about your last minute tweaks! Concentrate on strategy and motivating instead of headline line changes.

3. Edler. Can be one of the best or one of the worst. Never saw a defence man so inconsistent. Can dish out killer hits one game or disappear the next. Every time he holds the puck behind his net is disaster. Stop the power play drop pass! I think he's a robot who doesn't know how to change his play decisions no matter what is in front of him. Needs big dose of vitamins and brain food.

4. Raymond. Ugh! Is he half the weight of every other player? If not then he has no excuse. Always takes the easy way out. Has he ever driven to the net? I'll give him a bit of credit for being better in game 2 but benching him would make my day. I bet most players play more physical in practice.

Now please win Game 3 and turn this around.

I'm wondering if I'll see a cup in my lifetime.

5.The Sedins

So far the only thing they've produced in the playoffs is excuses.

No second gear, no killer instinct , not willing to pay the price.

The euro core experiment has run its course.

Great for regular season in an easy division but ghost when warfare begins

Always has been the coach. I do respect the amount of wins that have occurred under his tenure. But I cannot stand his decisions or way of going about doing things. Perhaps we need someone who doesn't just sit behind the bench chewing gum and looking like he has no clue what's going on in the game. His little remarks in press conference's also get me going. Most recently, calling the Sharks cheaters in the face off circle... really? That's a joke! I don't care if your telling the truth... saying something like that makes the team look like a bunch of cry babies. Not to mention it shows that the team doesn't need to take ownership of their mistakes.

This is the exact order I'd have this list, except I'd put the twins at #3. We expect more from them because we know what they can do. The fact that they're not scoring at all is one thing, but the fact they're not doing much of anything else...whether it's winning faceoffs or being sound defensively...is very disappointing.

1. AV - often gets out coached in the play offs and the only thing he is able to do is line juggling. And i don't like the fact that he doesn't really give the young players a real chance of cracking the line-up.

2. Edler & Bieksa - way to many turn overs and defensive lapses fron these two, even morefrustratinh when you know they are able to play.

3. Sedins - Never performs in the playoffs. Frustratibg to watch.

4. Kassian - Inconsistency is very frustrating, some games he comes out and plays hard, hits, fights, gods to the net and scores. But most nights he is quite invisible. Vould be because of AV cause he gets benched after a single mistake.

5. Ebbet - This might not be fair because he shouldn't actually be playing at all. But he's still the not doing anything at all out there

Kesler, the guy doesn't pass, doesn't use his wingers, watch how many times he gets the puck, crosses the blue line and wrists it from outside the circle.

I don't care if he got 2 goals last game, no one else on his line will ever score if he doesn't use them.

Edler has driven me crazy for years. He has no head for the game. He showed early promise very early in his career but has never lived up to that potential and doesn't look like he ever will. The guy is a turn-over machine and gets rewarded with top minutes game after game...ugh.

I can understand why many are critical of the Sedins. I've been a big fan of theirs since they entered the league. I agree they play too soft in the playoffs though and need to drive the puck toward the net more, etc. Shoot the puck, Henrik!! They need to get more aggressive.

But in their defence they probably take more abuse than any other players in the game. For whatever reason the referees seem to see them as fair game for any cheapshots the opponents choose to dish out. Look at how they've been protecting Logan Couture by comparison. The Canucks are penalized every time they take a shot at him.

Still, the Sedins are not nearly so ineffective as a lot of people seem to think they are. They are close to a point per game in the playoffs over the last 4 years. That's pretty good by any standard. Here are the numbers:

2010: 12/14

2011: 25/20

2012: 2/2

Henrik

2012: 5/5
