Linus Klasen of Sweden scores sick shootout move

The through-the-legs was nice, but I'm not a big fan of the spin-o-rama. The rules mentioned keeping the puck in constant forward motion, and clearly that kind of move violates that. Good for guys like Klasen and Mason Raymond who can execute it, but no way it's the greatest. Have you seen Datsyuk, Pat Kane, Claude Giroux or all the Forsbergian moves? Now those are masterpieces.

This spin-o-rama had clear constant forward motion, so there would be no violation of that rule.

On a side note, damn... people complain about the behind the board advertising on TV here... imagine if we had on-ice advertising like that!

It'll happen.

That exact move used to be my go to shootout move when I was younger. Fake forehand shot, bring it back between the legs, then spin around and tap it in with the backhand. Never thought I'd see it done professionally.

Brings me back haha

Meh, show me what he does with the puck in the corners with a defenseman coming down the board.

Probably the best player in the SHL or at least top 3. His short stature didn't work in the NHL but he is absolutely perfect for the larger ice in Europe. Holds players off insanely well and he is probably the most technical player by far in the entire league.

Funny how corporate advertising and sponsorship is so prevalent over there huh? You would think that a more leftist country like Sweden might take a different approach. My guess is tickets are cheap over there and the teams rely more on corporate investments.

Hockey is a business.

NHL gets TV deals. The other ones get sponsorship.
