kacholu
During free agency we appeared to be the second choice for Iggy. He was close to signing here too. Once that fell through we ended up getting Vrbata instead. I know it's way too early but it sure seems like we got the better deal. What do you guys think? Monteeun
I thought Iginla wanted a cup? Is Colorado it?
linden17
Vrbata is looking good. Iggy would of been good too but more expensive plus a few years older. Its just really hard to disagree with Vrbata though giving how he looks and the teams play so far.
Dazzle
Iginla would've been amazing with the Sedins. I think it would hurt too much to be playing Calgary so much though...

Baggins
I thought Iginla wanted a cup? Is Colorado it? He took less from Colorado to play with long time friend Alex Tanguay.

iinatcc
Iginla < Vrbata but Vrbata was the next best choice and has a better contract than Iggy
Quoted
Very different players bringing very different things to their team - really hard to compare them straight accross.
Apple Juice
If we could have had both, that would've been great. Iginla a great mentor for Kassian developing him into a beast of a power forward. But obviously we had different needs and if we had both Iginla and Vrbata, I doubt we'd have Miller
Bruce Boudreau
Iginla if he wants to be on a contender should ask for a trade back to Pittsburgh or something. They want a top six forward anyway.

-AJ-
Vrbata is younger and has a better shot. Iginla is more dominant, but is also older and slower.

hsedin33
I could honestly see Jerome being traded at the deadline. Imagine if we traded for him and played the Ducks? Iginla vs kesler roles reversed. Mindf***.
mancaesar
I'm so fine with Vrbata and how he's playing that I wouldn't trade him for Iginla straight up at this point. It would be different if Iginla was in his prime, obviously. I respect and like Iginla, but I must say it makes me smile when I see players spurn the Canucks in favour of a "contender" and then the Canucks proceed to absolutely dominate without them. Edit: ...and guys, it's Jarome.
Heretic
The time to get Iggy was when he first left the Flames.
