It's nice to see both him and Zhukenov being strong in that area, and then with some other guys like Boeser (and Jasek?) showing they can take draws as wingers. Interesting with Jasek, who seems to have played centre for his stint in the Extraliga playoffs (and the lineup charts also show this). But seems to have been mostly a winger previously. Not sure how he was deployed during WSM Liga games this year or if they're "converting" him to a full time centre? Maybe Trinec just needed another body down the middle. In any case, he seems to have done well, winning 53% of his draws, and being 2nd on the team in faceoffs taken in most of those Extraliga playoff games. Looked pretty good on the one Extraliga playoff goal he set up. Wins the draw and rushes up the centre of the ice, receives a pass, heads for the net, and then dishes to an open winger with a clear shot. Definitely looked like a centreman on that sequence. Abols sealed the win with an empty net goal and has 4-3-7 in seven playoff games now (it appears he had his assist from Game 1 taken away.)
