SergioMomesso
Loui hits 45 goals Sedin's notch 85 points each Guddy destroys McDavid, then beats the tar out of Lucic on same shift. McMuffin sits out entire year. Hutton hits 50 points. Hansen gets traded to Rangers for two 2nd rounders. JB then trades one of the 2nd round picks and next years first for Blake Wheeler at the deadline. We pick up Sam Gagner for the 4th line. Finish 3rd in the pacific behind the Sharks and Kings and roll into the playoffs with the following lineup. Pink Sock
This won't be popular. The Sedins will have a great start to the year, and people will keep saying, "See! The Sedins are no where near being done! They have tons of good hockey left in them!". Which will be true, however, they will fade near the end of January. Although they will prove they are still great players, they will also prove they cannot keep that consistency through a 82 game schedule, and in my mind, should be pushed back to the second line to take some of the pressure and ice time off their shoulders. IBatch
The Canucks will surprise a lot of naysayers, including some trolls on this site: Without a doubt we will bounce back and finish second in our division, San Jose will get first. Like this: 1. SJ No final hangover 2. VAN Team is healthy and back to winning, a LOT 3. ANA Just behind us. 4. EDM Wild Card SPOT 5. LA Sucks from start to finish. Doughty still gets nominated for the Norris somehow 6. ARI Just doesn't have the players 7. CAL Gets beat on by everyone else in this division, but wins against other teams We finish with 107pts, a ten game winning streak helps this and teams start hating to play against us again. The Sedins finish top ten in scoring and add snarl to their game, they push back and even start hitting to give them more room. Errikson also finsishes top ten in scoring and pots 42 goals. Horvat continues to improve and gets 56 pts. We have six 20 goal scorers as follows: L. Errickson 42 D. Sedin 31 Bear 28 Horvat 25 Sutter 22 Hansen 22 Virtanen just misses out with 19, he scores 10 of his goals in the last month heading into the playoffs as one of the hottest goals scorers in the leauge. Our defense also helps out by scoring 50 goals. We are the most improved team in the league, finishing with 256 goals for and 178 against. Special teams plays a big part in this, we rank 2nd in the PP and 3rd in penalty killing. Miller gets injured and Markstrom steps up and beats him out of the #1 spot with a SP of .929 and GAA of 1.64. Demko backs him up and posts even better stats of .943 and 1.45 GAA, another goalie contraversory is in the making but we don't care. Miller returns to the line-up and is sent down to the AHL to become the highest paid player in that league ever (lol Redden). ANA and DAL "big" centers try pushing the Sedins and our smaller forwards around during the pre-season, and Guddy, Try and Virtanen come in an absolutely pummel the opposition. This continues with a few other teams early in the season with similar results and other teams starts to back off. The plays a big part into why the twins play with more snarl and finally stop taking abuse. Horvat hits Johnny from CAL in October so hard that he is out for half the season. Then we sweep our first two opponents in the playoffs, win the conference final against DAL is 6, and beat Tampa Bay in 5 for the cup. The Hockey News posts a written apology when they publish their cup winning magazine about their continued pokes against Vancouver management and lack of direction etc. The Sedins are immortalized by the show they put on in the final and for the first time ever the Conn Smythe is shared, by both Daniel and Henrik. We win at home and they do a victory lap carrying both the Smythe and the Cup together and the fans give them and the team a 30 minute standing ovation that culminates around the city, and the province. Some fans take this as riot time and get busy but are stopped outright by the better part of the citizenry and tied to telephone poles for the police to clean up. The Premier makes a new B.C. Holiday marking the day (June 3) as Canucks Day.

Sedinery33
Sedin's, Eriksson Gaunce, Sutter, Hansen Baer, Granlund, Virtanen Burrows, Horvat, Dorsett Skille Rodin starts season on LTIR Edler, Tanev Hutton, Gud Sbisa, Larsen Tram, Biega Miller Markstrom Season opening rosters. By end of season Sedin, Sedin, Hansen Rodin, Horvat, Eriksson Granlund, Sutter, Skille Burrows, Gaunce, Dorsett Edler, Tanev Hutton, Gud Tram, Stecher No noticeable improvement in the line up other than health. I predict a break even season 82 ish points. No playoffs, no first overall, just middle of the pack. Virtanen will be sent to Utica once Rodin is off LTIR as he will not show better than Gaunce Tram will take over Sbisa's spot later in the year. Benning will look to trade Miller & Burrows at deadline without success Henrik will lead team in assists Eriksson will lead team in goals Edler will lead defense in goals and points Hutton will have a 30 point season Gaunce will end up with 20 points Rodin once healthy will be a weapon on the PP and make it better, leading the team in PP goals That's my 2 cents

Bo jake and Sven continue to contribute decent 3rd line scoring. Sutter proves he is worth his contract and makes up for missing an entire season. Hansen has repeat season. YES! This is what I am talking about! This team on paper looks ok...BUT... the potential is there to just dominate if our young guns keep stepping up and taking the pressure off the veterans (Sedins). So much potential. I think we will finish second in our division, and just clean up on certain teams. Vancouver is not going to be an easy stop anymore, and a lot of naysayers are going to be eating crow pies. It's going to tough on teams entering our zone this year, and coaches are going to have fits trying to figure out which line they should concentrate on given we have basically an elite first line and two excellent third lines with players who will get hot at different times. Nice job!

cory40
If the Canucks have a player to step into the top 6- Then they finnish top 3 and the Sedins get 80 points each. If Knowbody steps into the top 6 then we finnish near the bottom of the play-off race and the Sedins struggle to get 60 points each, and are shut out many nights after Jan. If the top 6 do well and the third line developes chemistry this team could be in a dog fight for the presidents trophy. If injuries plague the team then, we only dominate Edmonton and Toronto in the standings.
Remy
What's the point of reserving a post? Just post when you're ready. Or are you worried that your posts need to be as close to the main page as possible for e-points? No, seriously, if there are e-points at stake then I want in. My prediction is simple. We make the playoffs with a decent chance at seeing the second round. Huge bounce back year that sees the team become very competitive again. Young players take a step forward, new additions contribute, and our vets lead the way. It will NOT look like last season.
