That still should only belong to Crosby. Back to back cups, conn Smythes, World Cup, World Cup MVP, rocket richard... in comparison to oh my... Mcdavid got the Oilers into the playoffs. and the top rated player only rated a 93? Come on man! Agreed. They obviously did that purely on popularity and for marketing purposes. Guest
I'm torn on if I want to pick this up or not. The Threes mode didn't do anything for me, but 3v3 EASHL was pretty fun, I can see my buddies and I playing that quite a bit. $80 for a game is a hard pill to swallow though. I bought 17 on Black Friday for $50. I'm assuming a similar deal will be available this November.

Sean Monahan
As much as I love to talk about how disappointing this game is year after year (because it is) I always end up buying it in a moment of weakness because I'm a schmuck. Somebody should beat my ass with a tire iron when I do it.

Guest
Games are pretty much always released on a Tuesday. This game however, you have to wait until Friday to play it unless you drop an extra $20. It's pretty scummy of EA to try and sell the Young Guns edition with this BS three day early access thing. Guest
I played my first game of NHL 18 last night, won 12-0 with Vegas against LA in pre-season while playing on professional. I don't know what they've done, but it felt like every shot was a goal. Certainly saw every hit knock a King flat on his back, and gave them four injuries during the game too as some of the hits were huge. Weird game. Won't be buying it.
