WSH vs BUF: WSH This was a tough one to predict. I have to go with who I think will have a more productive time for their players. I see a lot of Buffalo players facing some really defensively sound teams. I would have to give WSH the edge with some of their Round Robin talent Kuz and Kadri could be real difference makers. I Also think the Stars/Flames series is going to be rough so I suspect will see some heavy penalty minutes from that one. NJD vs CBJ: CBJ Have to vote for my guys. If I don't believe in them how can I expect them to believe in themselves! Mike has insane top-end talent and sneaky good depth. I will need my team's depth to make up for my lack of star power. Mike definitely has the edge in net with a great 1A/1B combo. I'm in a tough spot against a real legend in GML. but I have to give credit to my guys - when were in it tough vs the Pens our guys stood up and made a difference when it mattered most. I respect the hell out of Mike as a GM, I look forward to this opportunity to test ourselves vs one of the very best. FLA vs BOS: FLA Experience + Tkachuk = pick. I love the NHL-ARZ team I think they can challenge NHL-COL in some games but I have to go with the proven panthers in this series. (Think this will be close) VAN vs ANA: VAN The coach. (pic above says it all) WPG vs SJS: WPG Love what c2x did with the Jets this year. Love the balance of vets to elite young talent. have to give Petey and c2x the edge here. Great gritty win by ThatMike tho in the Play-in. ARZ vs LAK: ARZ Better roster depth imo. I like the canes top end forwards more than the Kings. Aho is a stud he may struggle some with his round 1 competition but I like that canes teams a lot. I like Grubauer quite a bit and ARZ's veteran depth in Staal, and Sekera are fantastic. NSH vs DAL: NSH Going with NSH for their depth and veteran presence. Love this young dallas club but they lost some key pieces and I think that may be a deciding factor. May re-visit my picks before cut off tomorrow at noon. I am thinking about changing my FLA/BOS pick. I feel I have to many top seeds its taking the fun out of it lol.
