With 15 series left: even a GM who did not play the play in round has just as good a shot to win as one of these nine folks with some 30 points still on the table!
You may post your picks to win each series as soon as C2X declares officially in thread who is playing who, not before please as I need a bookmark to search from and that post will be the opening of the second round.
 
Pick a winner for 8 series and if you get em all right, you win 16 points. (2 per correct guess)

We would like to congratulate @greensman and the Bruins for advancing to the next round. It was a good battle and probably gave you a scare after day 2 or 3. Ultimately your team came through in the end.

 

With that said, I could not be any more prouder of our club. We weren't even suppose to be in the playoffs, many didn't even believe in us at all (don't think I forgot all of you that thought we would be blown out of the water), but we got a surprise late entry and made the most of it. As alluded to, we were at the top of the standings altogether at one point, no small feat. Had we been matched up with many of the other eastern teams this year, we would be advancing.

 

When I joined as the GM of the Flyers, we made it known that we wanted to bring a winning attitude and it looks like our players have bought it. We will continue in this pursuit next season whenever it may be and we want to make it known that we mean business here.

 

Good luck to the rest of the teams advancing.

Now I have to step up my team...you beat me back to the playoffs! Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. Next year the Blueshirts will look to give you a better competition!

if it makes you feel any better the Round Robin play-ins scraped off a good 15 - 20% off most GMs playoff rosters going into round 1. The BJs seemed unscathed in this regard, I am excited about that lol

if it makes you feel any better the Round Robin play-ins scraped off a good 15 - 20% off most GMs playoff rosters going into round 1. The BJs seemed unscathed in this regard, I am excited about that lol

GML Lotto Part 1 ties the 7 clubs that missed the playin as of July 18th post of C2X to the NHL clubs that won 2nd thru 9th overall: therefore the results of that are as follows:
