We felt it would be best to see what he gets on his next contract with the Flyers before signing anything long term. We are thrilled Ryan was willing to work with us here in NJ and are happy to have him on board for 4 more seasons! You need players like him to be competitive and win in this league. We are happy to have him here for the foreseeable future and hope to re-sign him again in 4 years time! Trenin and Andersson are happy re-signs. We will have cap flexibility with them. They can go to the minors and earn max salary without an NHL penalty if they are in the minors. Definitely a win / win situation for both players as they establish themselves as everyday NHler's. Trenin finished the season with the Preds and we hope to see his progression continue in the NHL when the season resumes!

Open to offers on several other young players. Looking to acquire a First and / or a Second Round Pick via Trade for the 2020 Draft. I am willing to move any of these players to achieve those ends. Sergei Bobrovsky will be bought out if no one wants him for a 3rd Round Pick. I personally am not a GM that likes to pay goalies north of 7.5M to any goalie. Max Pacioretty is a player we are also considering as a buy-out candidate. He would remain a coveted asset even after this buyout window. We however are unsure if he will be involved in our plans moving forward. We will take the summer to decide internally if no one is interested in acquiring him. We are willing to take back Top 6 Forward on a shorter/cheaper term deal and a 3rd Round Pick for Patches if it makes sense. (Open to non playoff players if they fit our criteria). Hit us up to ask. NJ is now entering a rebuild phase and is open season for trades. The organization will not be moving Alex Newhook but the rest of the team could be had for the right price. Caboose
Today was a massive day for the future of the Anaheim Ducks. In signing Filip Chytil, Timo Meier, and Adrian Kempe to long term contract extensions we have solidified the future of the franchise for years to come. Looking forward, Anaheim will try and move a forward to strengthen our defence long term. Armed with 3 first round picks in the coming entry draft and significant salary cap room, this looks to be an exciting time to be an Anaheim Ducks fan. 1 1

Great additions to compliment our young core. We’d like to specifically welcome Tree back to North America (Hopefully) and we are happy to hear that Ferland is progressing well in his recovery. We hope he can continue his career and set himself up for a longer contract after this recovery year.
Rush17
NJ has added goaltender via trade with someone in the central. It looks like goalie bobs reign in New Jersey will be short lived as the writing is on the wall. Goalie Bob remains with the club and is available for acquisition. NJ has lowered their price to a late third last week. He could potentially be had for a B-prospect right now. Also OTB Jesper Fast Richard Panik Erik Johnson (Already 50% retained for remainder of deal) Ian Cole Matt Benning (Rights as he is an RFA) Will be looking at some retooling. NJ is entering a 5 Year Rebuild Plan that starts in 2020. We will be preparing for our first playoff appearance in 2025 followed by what we hope is a long string of successful years with what we hope is our own drafted and developed talent in NJ. I am by no means a good scout but I want to take a crack at it to see if I can become a better eye for talent. If anyone on this list slightly intrigues you! Now is the time. We will be keeping competitive guys to show the next generation the ropes. Ryan Hartman, Antti Raanta, and Joakim Nordstrom are veterans we hope can help carry this load. If you have any questions. I'm on here or discord and typically reply within 6 hours or less. Fingers crossed this format comes out ok once posted. Down by the River
The LA Kings will likely use their compliance buyout on Drew Doughty in order to sign several upcoming RFAs. The team is also looking to recuperate draft picks. My DMs are open. Doughty has a NMC, but as Nail mentioned, NMCs will be waived at the end of the season. When that becomes the case, if anyone had hopes of signing Doughty as a UFA, we could also negotiate a trade that would help you avoid losing out on him if he signs with a different team. D-Money
Carolina Hurricanes are considering using their buyout on Craig Smith. However, he is just 30, still scores at a decent rate (on pace for 250 Fpts), and only has 3 years left at $6M per. Was thinking there might be teams that wish they could buyout a 2nd guy, who has a more egregious contract than Smith. Willing to consider a player swap to buyout someone else instead.
